Transferring to Another Course

You may transfer from one course to another during the first 60 days you are registered for a course. The date you transfer into a new course will be the official date of your registration for the new course. You may transfer your registration for a course only once. Fees cannot be transferred from one student to another and cannot be transferred to on-campus courses.

The transfer fee for undergraduate courses is $35, plus $10 for each assignment you’ve submitted. Click here to download the transfer request form.

We do not refund the learning guide fee on transferred courses.

Withdrawing from a Course

To withdraw from a course, you must fill out and send us a course withdrawal request form. We cannot accept a phone call as your official notice of withdrawal. Once you withdraw from a course, your registration for the course cannot be reinstated. However, you may re-register for the course at a later date. Keep in mind, though, that fees may increase by the time you re-register.

When you withdraw from a course, we’ll refund your course fees as follows:

If you withdraw from a course within 30 days of your registration date, we will refund your course tuition, less $10 per assignment submitted. If you withdraw from a course between 30 and 60 days of your registration date, we will refund one-half the course tuition, less $10 per assignment submitted.

We do not refund the learning guide fee or the $65 service/technology fee. We do not issue any refunds after 60 days.

Refunds take six to eight weeks to process.
