Prices are subject to change, especially on July 1 (the beginning of the new fiscal year). Fees for 2009-10 are listed below. We require full payment at time of registration.
Textbooks are not included in tuition must be purchased separately through the IU Bookstore or independent retailers.

The extension fee is $35 per credit hour for first extension ($105 for a 3 credit hour course); $70 per credit hour for second extension ($210 for a 3 credit hour course).
Active military service members deployed outside of the 50 United States receive one free extension, regardless of whether they are taking a correspondence course or an online course. Although the extension is free, you must request the extension using the First Extension Request form. If you decide to purchase a second extension, you pay the second extension fee.
The transfer fee is $35, plus $10 for each assignment submitted.
Important: We do not refund the learning guide fee. We do not issue any refunds after 60 days.
If you withdraw within 30 days of your registration date, we will refund your course tuition, less $10 for each assignment submitted. If you withdraw between 30 and 60 days of your registration date, we will refund one-half the course tuition, less $10 for each assignment submitted.
Important: We do not refund the learning guide fee or the $65 service/technology fee. We do not issue any refunds after 60 days.

You must pay fees in full each time you register for a course. Make checks or money orders payable to Indiana University for the total course price, including the tuition, service/technology fee, learning guide fee, and shipping charges. You may also charge fees by using American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa.
By sending a check for payment, you are authorizing Indiana University to use information from your check to make a one-time electronic debit from your account at the financial institution indicated on your check. This electronic debit will be for the amount of the of the check and will post to your bank account within one day of receipt by us. The cancelled check will not be returned with your checking account statement.
If we cannot post the transaction electronically, you authorize us to present an image copy of your check for payment. You agree that if a third party submits a check on your behalf, that individual is your agent and was provided with these disclosures. If you prefer not to process your check as an electronic transaction, please send a note to that effect with your check, and we will process your payment as a paper transaction.
